Welcome to the new website for LinkED, formerly The Learning Center of North Texas.  LinkED (The Learning Center of North Texas) was founded in 2001 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit under the leadership of Lucille Helton.  The organization was created to provide a centralized regional resource center that would provide practical, accessible, and affordable testing and resources that would enhance the success of individuals of all ages with learning differences and disabilities. The emphasis of our program is three-pronged: 1) to provide educational diagnostic evaluations and support, 2) to provide quality professional development for educators, and 3) to provide adult services support and testing. Our Psychoeducational testing blends the results from evaluation of full cognitive processes and achievement testing and relates these results to each individual’s strengths, weaknesses, and neurological development.  Our professional development is based upon brain research and emphasizes best practices for educators in order to determine the necessary interventions and classroom strategies needed to promote success in learning for all students. Our adult services support is carried out and funded through the Tarrant County Adult Education and Literacy Consortium.

Please feel free to access specific information related to the three divisions of our organization by following the program drop down menus housed on this site. We have attempted to make our site both easy to navigate as well as informative.

Please feel free to contact us at 817-336-0808 if you have further questions regarding the services we offer or the diagnostic testing we perform.
