Financial Assistance
Cost shouldn't be the only thing standing between someone and the answers they need.
As a nonprofit organization, LinkED is committed to making evaluation services more accessible. Financial assistance may be available to help reduce the cost of testing for eligible individuals and families.

Barbara W. Jiongo Sliding Scale Fund
Financial Assistance for Individuals & Families
Our sliding-scale program helps reduce the out-of-pocket cost of evaluation services for eligible individuals and families experiencing financial need.
How It Works
Important to Know: Financial assistance does not cover 100% of the cost of testing. Assistance is based on financial need and the amount of funding available at the time of application.
Ryan Grant Referral Program
Helping nonprofit organizations connect children and youth with needed educational assessments.
Through grant support from The Ryan Foundation, LinkED partners with qualifying nonprofit organizations to provide partial funding for diagnostic testing for individuals and families experiencing financial need.
Who Qualifies?
To qualify for Ryan Grant funding, the individual must be receiving financial assistance or free services from the referring organization.
Tuition discounts and scholarships alone do not qualify as financial assistance under the current program guidelines.
Confirm Eligibility
Determine that the individual is currently receiving qualifying financial assistance or free services through your organization.
Complete the Statement of Financial Need
An agency representative completes this document to verify need and confirm that the parent/guardian has authorized the organization to share this information with LinkED.
Important: This form is completed by the referring organization, not sent home for the parent to complete.
Complete the Ryan Grant Referral
The agency and parent/guardian collaborate to provide information about the individual's educational concerns, previous evaluations, current services/accommodations, hearing and vision, and other relevant information.
Submit the Referral to LinkED
Return the completed referral materials to LinkED for review.
Once a referral is approved, LinkED will contact the parent/guardian. The parent or guardian then contacts LinkED to schedule the evaluation.
